Ann Louise Roswald is totally in tune with the ever changing mood of 2010.
There are two strong stories for this season's beautiful collection. Reflecting our shift in lifestyle, the collection on one hand pays homage to the new austerity and on the other offers the ultimate in comfort and luxury.
Tailoring is classical; the Black, Pearl, Ruby Red, Mink and Marine Navy Blue colour story conveys simple, restrained chic. Sharply tailored dresses in supple wool crepe are matched with lean fitted jackets that are serious but sexy especially in the dark Navy and Black colour ways. Intricate cut work detail is designed to reveal just the right amount of skin. Mink progresses the summers' nude colour story perfectly into winter, rich and warm, elegant and feminine while the bang on trend vibrant Ruby Red is dramatic and confident.
Deluxe knits play a central role. From cosy, flirty, super soft chunky merino cardigans and wraps to intricately beaded evening jackets. Simple yet striking retro knit coats and dresses are everyday staples. Colours are soothing and flattering with rich Chocolates, muted Greens, restful Greys and sophisticated Petrol, some styles are further enhanced with lurex thread to add trademark sparkle and glamour!
Ann Louise Roswald's AW2010 collection mirrors today's woman, focused and in control, practical and consummately stylish.
